Bishop Samuel Hunt Sr. was installed as Pastor of the Safety Harbor ministry on October 1, 1997.  His vision has been to repair the broken relationships between man, and God, and to renew the vital relationship with God.  He has overseen the construction of the 1st Apostolic Church building in the last 45 years.  He is a 7th generation Minister and son of Elder Floyd M. Hunt Jr., the former Pastor of Tampa's ministry, he was appointed to serve as interim Pastor on August 2016 for Tampa in the ministry's search for new Pastor.  In 2002 Safety Harbor dedicated its new 120 seat edifice with a 30 person capacity dinning annex., and baptismal pool.  The ministry boasts the latest in electronic devices for producing and reproducing audio and visual (DVD) projects.  Bishop Hunt and his wife Janet have been instrumental in providing mentoring to individuals with emerging spiritual gifts.  He is a hands on preacher.   Elder Janet Hunt-Small, was ordained in December 2010, and has served as Ministerial President of the National Church, preforming pre-examinations and background checks upon candidates seeking to be licensed as  Ministers and pastoral leaders.  Elder Janet's uncommon anointing has been an instrument of God's Direction for a number of years.  Each of the Hunt's welcome you to our web page, Lets Stay Together.

Our Church Purpose

The purpose of this organization shall be that of the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; the teachings of the Apostolic Doctrine, which will enrich the lives of believers, change the lifestyle of the sinner, and bring mankind into perfect harmony with God. The ordinations of deacons, elders, bishops, etc. will consist of obeying the doctrine and procedures of the church. Certification of license will be given from the Presiding Bishop and the Executive Board during the Annual General Assembly authorizing them to perform baptisms, communions, marriage ceremonies, funerals and other Godly service as long as they are in good standing with the church and are subject to the constitution and by-laws of the church and the Word of God
